Her area of expertise is in children’s behavioural and mood disorders, and in food intolerances, along with other common problems such as sleep, bedwetting, eczema and chronic constipation. Gloria’s areas of specialty include all areas of paediatric naturopathy, spanning from eczema, gut issues, bedwetting, asthma, and particularly children’s behavioural and learning disorders, such as ADD and ADHD, women’s hormonal imbalances and menstrual irregularities, detoxification in adults and children, meal planning for health, stress and mental wellbeing – including adult ADD/ADHD.

Head Coach and Founder at Disruptive Education
Kristy's topic - Unleashing Amazing Minds will cover how the human brain is an amazing tool and can wire itself in many unique ways. The varieties of different ways we can think, learn and see the world is very beneficial for finding new solutions to problems. If all our brains worked the same way we, as a species would be very limited. In education, though we often label anyone who learns differently as "special needs" or as having a "learning disability", while it may be true that some students may need additional supports or allowances to achieve their best, the labels can at times can be misleading or detrimental. In this prevention we'll be exploring: the wonders of the human brain and the many ways it can be wired in many different ways, how our beliefs about what our students are capable of will influence their beliefs about themselves, their success in school and their future opportunities and many strategies that we can use to support students with ADHD and other learning and behaviour challenges to thrive in the classroom.
